My name is Steven Spears, but you can call me Steve. Foremost, I believe that each person has a strength that has gotten them this far in life. I use my skills to help them grow that strength and explore what might be holding them back or causing pain or discomfort. I find it very important to recognize that strength and build on it through connection and utilizing skills from different treatment models. I use my expertise to provide insight, support, and tools for my clients. My goal is to respect their process and way of working. I look forward to working with you!

Parent Coaching
I offer sessions where parenting is the primary focus of your needs. Exploring development, how to engage and encourage your children, and communication. Parents can some times struggled with their kiddos, but it’s not because of care. Education and understanding can be very important.
Counseling
Counseling means different things to different people. My goal is to offer what you need and be a partner in exploration, processing, and education. I offer my expertise in helping each client reach their goals.
What treatments are available: Childhood trauma and adult onset trauma, adoption and foster issues, and PTSD. Anxiety and depression in adults and children. ODD, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Parenting is another focus that I have in my practice. Helping parents understand their children, build relationships, and improve their parenting skills is an important part of my skill set.

How do I schedule and appointment?

Yes. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to see if we might be a good fit.

Fees and payment methods.
Sessions are $150.00 for individual and $200.00 for couples. Sliding scale may be available, apply to determine eligibility.
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club; FSA and HSA cards; Link by Stripe.
For those with insurance, superbills are available upon request for you to send to your insurance.
